We're finally starting to see some of the older Garmin nuvi models drop out of the top 10 list, with the 205W, 255W and 755T all breaking into this month's chart.
On the sport and handheld GPS side, the nuvi 500 and Oregon 300 made their debut. And this is the first month I can recall in a long time that a bike-friendly Garmin Edge model didn't make the cut.
As always, the rankings are based on the number of times each review has been read here on GPS Tracklog, which is usually a pretty good indicator of the overall GPS market.

New GPS reviews for October 2008
Do you happen to know the closes Garmin unit to an old SP2720? I haven't been able to find anything like this unit and I worry that once it quits, there won't be anything to replace it. It is very advanced in customization and routing compared to what I've seen on the market recently.
I recently wrote on my blog about the iPhone's GPS, which surprised me with its abilities. Here's the link if you're interested. http://johnkendrick.wordpress.com/2008/08/30/iphone-does-gps/
