Current deal summary - November 21

GPS sale small Over at GPS Deals, I've posted two sales events. REI has some exceptionally good prices on several units, including the Garmin nuvi 255, nuvi 500, Forerunner 305, and a couple of TomTom's.

Meanwhile, TigerGPS has some deals that will run thru November 24, or while quantities last. These include a red nuvi 205W and the Colorado 400t.

DeLorme PN-40 in stock UPDATE: Check out my hands-on review of the DeLorme PN-40. Tiger GPS has the DeLorme PN-40 in stock for $349.95. Amazon says they will have it tomorrow -- maybe they will, maybe they won't. They often lag on getting new Garmin units into their system by a couple of weeks. I posted some first impressions of the PN-40 recently. It's looking like the best handheld GPS with aerial photo capability, not to mention a huge additional range of functionality. Navigon 7200T review The Navigon 7200T updates the Navigon 7100, adding 3-D buildings and a new interface. The 4.3" wide screen navigator comes loaded with maps of the U.S. and Canada, and has text-to-speech, so you'll hear "in one mile, turn right onto Maple Street" instead of just "in one mile, turn right." Other features include Bluetooth for hands-free cell phone use, lifetime traffic, voice destination entry, Reality ViewTM Pro, Lane Assist Pro, Zagat® ratings and reviews, Exit Guide and DirectHelpSM. Whew; this thing is loaded! But the question is, how well does it do all that? I'll dig into those features in more detail shortly.
