UPDATE: Read our Mio Moov 200 review and our Mio Moov 310 review
The bovine-sounding Mio Moov and Mio Moov XL are making their way through the FCC approval process, getting one step closer to our dashboards. The Moov units should be the first to ditch the old iGo interface for a newer, more intuitive one born of the Mio / Navman merger.
I had a chance to check out the prototype at CES last month and liked what I saw. Oh, and the "Luhen" at the top? No idea what that means. The ones at CES had "GPS" on top of the unit. And they were calling them the "Move" series rather than the "Moov."
Few other details are available at this time. It appears that a 3.5" and 4.3" version will be offered, the latter being the XL model of course. And at least one of them will have Bluetooth. These new receivers are likely to appear on store shelves sometime in the next two months.
If Gateway ever got into the GPS game, the Moov name would have worked quite nicely with the cow motif they had.
