TeleAtlas announced today that they have acquired "detailed source data covering Mexico’s highway and street network." Since TeleAtlas is a data provider for TomTom, maybe we'll get Mexican maps for TomTom soon.

Hmmm, will be interesting to see what happens with updates and whatnot. I know TeleAtlas is doing well right now - they're going to be used by Cobra and Pioneer in car (in addition to TT), probably just trying to cover all the bases thoroughly!

Thanks for the info. I'm thinking I may have to start reviewing Pioneer GPSr's, now that they are making portables and using TeleAtlas data.
