- Magellan has announced MapSend Topo Mexico, but apparently there is only an SD version, and no CD-ROM version. Via Allory.

- Just a reminder that you aren’t the only one salivating over GPS units. Protect your GPS against theft. Even if you remove your GPS receiver from sight, you may still leave tell-tale signs such as dashboard / windshield mounts, power cords, etc.
- GlobeXplorer now offers users access to multiple historical satellite and aerial photo images.

- Mapping Hacks reports on an interesting tool that allows people to define their own neighborhoods. The first city’s neighborhoods to be mapped is San Francisco.
