New Cobra GPS with a 5 inch screen

Cobra_logo Cobra has announced that they will release a new GPS with a 5 inch screen. They also announced a special version for truck drivers, with data from TeleAtlas that will meet their special needs. The earliest shipping date is the fourth quarter of 2007, for the trucker model anyway. Sorry - no model numbers or pricing yet.

I find the trucker angle an interesting niche play. Garmin has the very pricey StreetPilot 7200 and SteetPilot 7500, but it looks like Cobra is going for your everyday truck driver rather than the retiree with the six-figure RV.
